Phelan’s White Witch Love and Tainted Heart Ritual is a 21-day working designed to cleanse the heart, remove emotional and spiritual obstacles, strengthen the loving connection between two people, and create an atmosphere where affection, communication, passion, commitment, and reconciliation can once again grow.

For 21 consecutive days, I will work with the names, birth dates, photographs when provided, and the written request of those involved. Each night builds upon the work performed before it.

Day 1, Opening the Sacred Circle

Tonight, I open the ritual and establish the sacred space in which this work will remain for the next 21 days. I place the names and photographs upon my altar and formally present the request before the Goddess and God. I light the first candles and call upon the four elements to witness and empower this working.

Day 2, Cleansing the Heart

Tonight, I begin cleansing the emotional residue surrounding the relationship. I focus upon removing accumulated anger, disappointment, sadness, resentment, and emotional exhaustion. The purpose is to begin separating the love itself from the pain that has attached itself to it.

Day 3, Removing Negative Energy

Tonight, I work directly upon the negative energy surrounding the relationship. I spiritually cleanse the path between these two people, concentrating upon removing destructive influences that have contributed to distance, confusion, arguments, or separation.

Day 4, Breaking the Chains of the Past

Tonight, I focus upon the events of the past that continue to poison the present. Old arguments, hurtful words, betrayals, misunderstandings, and painful memories are symbolically brought before the altar so their influence can begin to weaken.

The past cannot be allowed to control the future.

Day 5, Healing the Tainted Heart

Tonight begins the deeper heart work. I focus upon the wounded areas of the emotional connection. The purpose of this night's ritual is healing, soothing emotional wounds, and strengthening the loving energy that remains between the two individuals.

Day 6, Removing Outside Interference

Tonight, I concentrate upon outside influences that have created problems within the relationship. This may include gossip, jealousy, meddling friends, family interference, former lovers, romantic rivals, or anyone whose influence has contributed to division.

I work to weaken the influence of those energies upon the relationship.

Day 7, Strengthening the Spiritual Connection

The first seven days have concentrated heavily upon cleansing. Tonight, I begin strengthening.

I place the names together upon my altar and focus upon the spiritual connection between the two people. I feed that connection with loving energy and reinforce the bond that originally brought them together.

Day 8, Opening Communication

Tonight, I work upon communication.

Silence can destroy a relationship just as quickly as anger. I focus upon removing the spiritual obstacles surrounding communication and encourage an atmosphere where thoughts, feelings, apologies, affection, and truth can be expressed.

Day 9, Rekindling Affection

Tonight, I turn my attention toward tenderness and affection. I focus upon memories of happiness, companionship, laughter, physical closeness, and the emotional warmth that once existed.

The purpose is to awaken the softer side of the connection.

Day 10, Reawakening Passion

Tonight, the energy becomes stronger.

I focus upon attraction, passion, desire, chemistry, and physical closeness. I work with the natural romantic energy between the two individuals and strengthen the fire that may have diminished through separation, stress, or conflict.

Day 11, Removing Emotional Walls

Tonight, I concentrate upon emotional walls.

Pride, stubbornness, fear, anger, and disappointment can create barriers that prevent two people from reaching one another. I symbolically break through these walls and clear the pathway between the two hearts.

Day 12, The White Witch Love Blessing

Tonight, I perform the central White Witch Love Blessing.

The altar is strengthened with fresh candle energy as I focus upon love, compassion, tenderness, communication, loyalty, and emotional healing. The relationship is surrounded with loving spiritual energy and blessed for positive movement.

Day 13, Protection Against Negative Influences

Tonight, I place spiritual protection around the relationship.

I focus upon shielding the connection from jealousy, gossip, manipulation, psychic attacks, destructive outside influences, and negative energy. What has been cleansed must now be protected.

Day 14, Calling the Hearts Together

Tonight, I work with the two names together.

I focus upon the emotional connection and call the hearts toward understanding, remembrance, affection, and closeness. If distance has developed, tonight's work concentrates upon spiritually shortening that distance.

Day 15, Restoring Trust

Tonight, I concentrate upon trust.

Where suspicion, disappointment, or uncertainty has damaged the relationship, I work to cleanse those energies and strengthen honesty, reliability, emotional security, and confidence in the connection.

Day 16, Reconciliation Energy

Tonight, the ritual moves strongly toward reconciliation.

I focus upon forgiveness, communication, reunion, and the possibility of beginning again without dragging every wound of the past into the future. The energy tonight is directed toward bringing two hearts back into harmony.

Day 17, Strengthening Commitment

Tonight, I concentrate upon stability and commitment.

Love cannot survive indefinitely upon emotion alone. It requires consistency, loyalty, responsibility, and a willingness to build something lasting. I strengthen these energies around the relationship and the request placed upon my altar.

Day 18, Removing the Final Obstacles

Tonight, I examine the spiritual work that has been performed throughout the previous 17 days and concentrate upon stubborn obstacles that remain.

I work aggressively against lingering negativity, resentment, confusion, outside interference, and emotional resistance that may continue to stand between the individuals.

Day 19, Binding the Positive Work Together

Tonight, I begin binding together everything that has been accomplished.

Love, communication, healing, passion, protection, trust, reconciliation, and commitment are brought together symbolically upon my altar. The individual parts of the ritual now become one unified working.

Day 20, Manifestation of the Request

Tonight, I return directly to the written request given to me at the beginning of the ritual.

I read the request before my altar and concentrate upon the desired outcome. I feed additional energy into the work and ask that the path be opened for the strongest possible manifestation of the client's desires.

Day 21, The Final Tainted Heart Working

Tonight is the culmination of the entire ritual.

For the final time, I place the names together and call upon the energy that has been raised throughout these 21 days. I focus upon cleansing what has been tainted, healing what has been wounded, strengthening what remains, and opening the pathway toward love, communication, reconciliation, passion, and commitment.

I seal the work and give thanks to the Goddess, God, elements, guides, and spiritual forces that have witnessed the ritual.

The candles are allowed to complete their work, and the sacred circle is formally closed.

The ritual has now been performed for 21 consecutive days. What began as a tainted heart has been subjected to cleansing, healing, strengthening, protection, and the concentrated energy of love.

Sometimes love is not dead. Sometimes it is simply buried beneath anger, hurt, interference, pride, and everything that has happened between two people.
